The Four-Legged Coins We Found Around the World
Jul 29, 2026
A message from Lisa...
As we’ve shared recently in our blogs and through social media posts, we have a wall of images in our office that represent our teammates’ “Coins”. This display has become a great reminder for all of us of the depth of our full-time staff and our team of Expert Facilitators, and what we all value.
In this week’s Blog, our colleague and dear friend, Lisa Fredrickson, gives us a glimpse into her values, and shares some of the currency beneath one of the images she chose.
Lisa has been teaching and performing improv for 35 years, bringing her experience from acclaimed improv companies including Seattle TheatreSports, SAK Comedy Lab in Orlando, Disney’s Comedy Warehouse, and Impro Theatre in Los Angeles, where she has been an ensemble member for the past 20 years. Her corporate clients include Oracle, Target, and Hewlett-Packard. Lisa combines her passion for improv, creativity, and team building to create engaging experiences with the team at Game On. She currently serves as the resident improv teacher at California Lutheran University and an adjunct instructor at The Harvard-Westlake School.
We’re honored to have Lisa as part of our Game On Expert Facilitator team, and appreciate the joy, laughter, wisdom, and expertise that she brings into every room she enters.

I have always loved the concept of 'coins' as a useful tool for connecting with people, as well as a method of unearthing as much joy into my life as possible! I've noticed that in a video game, when you collect more than one coin at a time, they tend to multiply in value and power - I've seen that result in my own life as well.
At the top of my personal coins list are 'Travel' and 'My Cats.' When my Husband (COIN) and I decided to incorporate Cats into our travel destinations, we experienced a true SUPERBALL COMBO of enjoyable travel adventure!
Roaming foreign cities has always been our favorite pastime, but lately we purposely choose destinations that include the feline element.
Istanbul, Athens, and all the Greek Islands are teeming with healthy, well cared for cats that are also roaming around looking for pets or sometimes treats. We even discovered a unique Island of Cats in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
Our vacation photos no longer include famous landmarks as much as the four-legged friends we have encountered when we least expected it. Walking along a cobblestone street with an eye out for a cat in any random corner or stairwell brings so many unexpected smiles and surprises to our travel itineraries.
I suppose it's how birdwatchers must feel while walking in the woods, or orchid hunters in an alligator ridden swamp... I digress.
My theme here is 'Supersize your coins whenever possible.' Perhaps you will find a magical multiplier that you didn't even know existed before!
